"no! no! no!"
there's a first for everything...and today i got the chance to be a bystander in a meeting between the RSN and ST(Marine)..
holy shit was it different from anything i've ever experienced...
sitting at the table as an onlooker as representatives from each side tore into each other is probably the best position to be in...no participation required..just entertainment..
the RSN guy wanted to do something that would make things easier for the STM dude...but for some reason he just didn't get it..choosing to use i quote "no! no! no!" in a confrontational manner for every reply..this went on for like 20-30 mins before my boss just cut in and summarised everything in very short simple sentences...
mr STM was all super defensive and shit...saying "its not my fault.." even though everyone finally reached a consensus..
i was like wtf..!?
its the first time i've ever been in a meeting like this...i've always imagined meetings to be a very cordial affair where everyone just wayangs to get the meeting over and done with..never expected to actually hear someone use the exact words "no! no! no!" as a reply to everything..and it was to a CPT not some CPL...
in the end..the CPT dude just got so fed up he walked out of the meeting room..
although i didn't know shit about what was going on..but from what i gathered the CPT was making very reasonable and logical suggestions that actually made life easier for mr STM...but that queer kept on blabbering "no! no! no!" as if he just didn't understand what the fuck was being said...
my boss called this a 'working-level' meeting...where it literally involves the guys on the field..
the ones we're all accustomed to are the 'management-level' meetings where everyone puts on a show to convince the chairman they're doing work...
new experiences are wonderful no?
