we are the sons of the sea(men)
navy guys are a dumb lot..
forget all the propaganda garbage you see on the trains and media..we're all a bunch of retards trying not to irk the higher powers that be.
phase 1 of the rest of our lives concluded recently and i almost shit myself while reflecting on the intial safti phase. 'Best Little Navy in the World'?? good grief i beg to differ. with young occifers like me 'defending' all your civilian behinds, you know you're in for a world of pain when our best buddies up north decide that their country isn't worth showing up on the map any longer.
so what did yours truly accomplish the past 5 weeks that did not involve bending the laws of physics? good question...i have no fucking idea either.
sometimes we share vital information regarding whether we can go home early
occasionally we enrol for Housekeeping1101
naturally no course would be complete without the standard 'class photo'..
..and other informal shots of course
you don't expect a course NOT to have group work right??
...that culmulates in a final assessment for DollUpUWhore1101
and guess who debuts as himself..
dont even ask me what the fuck is THAT
you didn't think a military man wouldn't engage in sports did you?
and bonus points to the tall guy for demonstrating how to play against foreigners
no course would be complete without the 'class bonding' BBQ...
..neither would it work without someone getting fucked for being himself
all in all...not the best 5 weeks i've had in my life but ain't nowhere near the worst 5 either.
so what's next for the defenders of the country? typical saf behavoir to split and send us all on 'specialized' courses where we learn interesting things like 'What is a ship?".
i'll be starting this 5.5 month Graduate Mech. Engg (GME) course at singapoo poly from tmr onwards. funny thing though, the few of us get to go as civilian students for half a year. gotta wonder why i even bothered to shear my locks...
