11 things you probably already know (but i assume otherwise) about me...
#1. i don't watch soccer
its no secret soccer's my numero uno when it comes to sports but i actually don't watch soccer one bit..i don't care who're the goddamn premier league champions neither do i give a shit about betting on matches..the only local footballer i've heard of is fandi ahmad and even that's stretching it..he's like an urban legend you hear of..but rarely ever seen in action..
#2. i hate horror flicks
the only 'horror' flick i've ever paid money to watch was 'The Ring' and that's only cuz a good portion of my jc class wanted to watch it collectively..i won't be an asshole and say all horror flicks are like porn with 'love scenes' substituted with 'cheap frights'..but nonetheless i'd pick any random comedy over the most hyped up screamer of the decade anyday..
#3. i don't dig 'cool mature' PC games
World of Warcraft...DOTA (whatever the fuck that means)...Counterstrike..whatever..PC games have never been an alternative gaming platform for me..i've never felt compelled to use my PC as a gaming medium and i probably won't change that stance anytime soon..i get my gaming fix on my various consoles..and i only recently learned what the term 'noob' meant..don't try to discuss multiplayer onling gaming with me unless you're prepared to hear about super banana bombs and the concrete donkey..
#4. i'm an old school classic nerd closet hobbist
you remember those losers sitting around bishan mrt in the early 90s playing Magic the entire day..? i've always been interested in this sort of tabletop RPG gaming but i never did jump into the Magic craze..i'm pretty interested in more niche tabletop RPG parodies like Dork Tower and Munchkin...its one of those hobbies that require little startup capital but rewards with hours upon hours of mindless fun with like-minded 'nerds'..but its definitely not everyone's cup of tea..
#5. i'm also an old school toy/cartoon lover
everyone prob already knows this but shit not everyone reads what i write so just in case they stumble onto upthelorry in the future..let me proudly announce that i'm totally into all those old school toys of the 80s/early 90s..especially Transformers and M.A.S.K..and their kickass cartoons..i used to wait eagerly for them cartoons to air at 630 daily..a different cartoon each day..now i pay through my ass to buy old school toys that aren't fun to play with per se but are worth a bomb for their nostalgic factor..
#6. i'm one clean-cut individual
for all the billions of pretty language i use daily to describe total strangers..i do not engage in social vices of any sort..smoking gambling chionging etc. aren't fitted anywhere into my routine..not to say that those who engage in such activities are morons..there's no definite wrong or right when it comes to these things.....
....the only exception being motherfucking smokers!
#7. i fucking hate smokers
no secret there..since i openly condemn those faggots regularly..well to be fair i have no problem with people fucking their lungs up getting cancer and shit but its their fucking 2nd hand smoke that irates me...i mean if you're gonna light up have the fucking decency to fuck off to somewhere without anyone within a 10m radius of you and puff your life away..unknown to practically all smokers who think 2nd hand smoke is hardly noticeable..let me assure your tar filled lungs that ya'll are sorely and grossly mistaken..
#8. i have sweaty palms
not the kind that literally drips water..more of the kind that's just plain irritating...that sticky shit feeling which in the grand scheme of things doesn't affect anything one bit but its plain irritating (and slightly gross) nevertheless..nothing like leaving big handprints on every non-matte surface you touch...
#9. i'm a neat freak
i'm atypical...i actually want my stuff to be arranged neatly instead of being the typical messy punk..i like my books arranged..notes sorted out..toys displayed meticulously..wires bound together neatly and even my damn handwriting..don't ask me why i'm like this...i don't have a clue...maybe it empowers me or something..
#10. i hardly have a life
having a wonderful gf naturally takes up time but the reality is even if i were a swinging single..i wouldn't have shit to do in my free time..unlike most others i don't have 'different' groups of frens nor do i have planned schedules...basically you could call me last minute and ask me out and 95% of the time i'll be available from morning till whenever...if i decline..it most prob means i don't really like you or there's a slight slight chance i may REALLY be occupied with something else..
#11. i don't like being so damn tall
girls can swoon all they want and guys can lament endlessly how good it'd be to be 'just that much taller' but let me assure everyone for every good thing that comes with being tall...there're 2 bad things to offset it...clothing is a big issue since i'm not a fan of wearing pants that barely cover my ankles..i can't stand upright while on the bus either...did i mention most local girls can hardly reach the magical 1.70m mark in the first place..? yea no doubt i think tall is definitely better than short but i'd draw the line around 1.80...which already qualifies in the 'tall' category and is a good 5 to 8cm below what i'm currently hovering at...
