engineers deconstructed...
Dilbert's "Salary Theorem" states that "Engineers and scientists can never earn as much as business executives, sales people, accountants and especially liberal arts majors." This theorem can now be supported by a mathematical equation based on the following two well known postulates:
Postulate 1: Knowledge is Power.
Postulate 2: Time is Money.
As every engineer knows: Power = Work / Time.
Since: Knowledge = Power,
then Knowledge = Work / Time,
and Time = Money,
then Knowledge = Work / Money.
Solving for Money, we get: Money = Work / Knowledge.
Thus, as Knowledge approaches zero, money approaches infinity, regardless of the amount of work done...
and thus the true meaning of being an engineer...
i always thought it was unfair that an engin degree took 4 years of packed timetables compared to 3 years of 15-hour weeks...

1 peasants have disturbed me
need...food..
well its 130 in the morn now...been online for over 10 ten hours...good thing for broadband...went out for supper just now and managed to get some food, after starving for over half a day...
was supposed to meet chu after she was done at hs' party...was thinking of having dinner with her; thot she'd leave around 8+...naturally turned out wrong as usual cuz by 11..i was still waiting for news from her...didn't help that i kept experiencing sporadic gastric pains due to my unintentional food abstinence...by the time i took the initiative to msg her, any mood to meet up for some quality time had turned to organic gas inside my stomach...
so the moral of the story??
dun get ur hopes up...even though something may be the ONLY thing that you've been looking forward to the entire day..the higher the hopes, the harder the fall..
i'll just add today to my long list of wasted weekends...no biggie.
