ok i need to ask a very important life threatening question...
WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH ALL THESE NEW MALLS CLAIMING TO BE SOME KIND OF OMNIPOTENT METROPLEX????
we've got ngee ann city, suntec city, gain city, turf city, the oh-so-sweet vivo city, and now sporting hub velocity..
what the fuck is up with that? developers can't think of anything creative to name their billion dollar projects so instead just pick some random garble from a hat and throw a 'city' behind it to add some form of churlish grandeur to cheat the stupid peasants out of their patronage?
Gain City..what the hell?? some megaplex for anorexic shitheads to pack some meat in a jiffy??
Ngee Ann City a.k.a Takashimaya...why bother naming a building after a polyteknic, which only qualifies as a 'city' if you consider it in the term 'city of intellectually impaired' when the entire world simply singlishfies it to 'taka'...
