ballacks!! and i thought this world cup would be the one that proves why football is the world's most popular sport to those basketball toting fools..

quite ironic really..the past few days saw the start of the knockout rounds as the world's best football teams race for the final 8...and yet all matches so far less the trumping of them swedes by the germans have left much to be desired..is it just me or have all the matches played in the knockouts so far been uninspiring..? 1-0 victories most of them nothing much to write home about for the average football fan saw 3 teams through to the quarters...with ukraine having to resort to penalties (PENALTIES goddammit!!) against a swiss (SWISS!!!) team...

am i the only champ who found the qualifiers much more exciting to watch..??

*don't even get me started on that P.O.S team that is england*
